I’d totally forgotten this song. It did in fact get played on the radio here in Hawaii, and listening to it just now, the song gradually came back to me. It’s understandable that I’d forgotten it after more than 30 years…
I’ve been there twice from Switzerland. Always did a night stop in California otherwise it’s about 12 + 5 flight hours at best without transit and immigration. Enjoyed a lot Waikiki life and Oahu.
