sovereignty for native Americans. The main characteristics of a sovereign state or a nation, is having its own administration, its own country, and it governing body. In your case, you native Americans don’t have anything! You may be under the American protection but to what cost? Native Americans are dwindling in population and are moving away from your cultural identity. Besides, Hawaiians are not connected to any Mongoloid tribe in mainland America. They are Polynesians with deep unique ways

Hulaqte, you must be kidding me. Are you going to tell me that the Communist nations of Venezuela and Cuba are planning to annexed all independent near by countries like Jamaica, The Bahamas? You must be kidding me. There is no where you going to prove this damn theory. Look the Native Americans don’t have any sovereignty, the name, nation within a nation is a way to pacify your people just like they did to your people hundreds of years ago before they took over your lands. There is no….

  3. hulaqte says:

gins- read my post to jtmoana

  4. hulaqte says:

jtm- thats why “sovereignty” is so important-
just like the native indians, we will become a state within a state-
    our own governing laws implemented-
and still have the protection of the U.S. -
the problem with this is, hawaiian ppl are afraid the gov. of Hawaii will turn Hawaii into a” casino” abroad, and they do NOT want that-

  5. hulaqte says:

what, like swimming across the Rio to pick tomatoes?is that how we’re fighting the govt these days?

  6. hulaqte says:

    extend-mexicans don’t have all their land california,arizona,Texas,NewMexico
ramiro is blowing mexican smoke rings
and their country is borderline communist regime, drug cartel pays poor ppl to start a riot withthe govt-
besides, if we give back their land, they’ll turn it into another T.J. and the land will be an extended landfill and dumpsite
they dump thier raw sewage which flows into the ocean and the current picks it up on the San Diego side-and they wont clean it up-welcome to Mexico!

  7. jtmoana says:

The question is WHO? who is there to invade Hawaii against all international laws not existed when US annexed Hawaii? There is no guarantee that other countries will take over Hawaii without provocation! Hawaii was attacked because it was a US territory. I doubt it very much that Hawaii would be invaded by another nation if the US pulled out!
Facts remained, US took over Hawaii illegally, and occupies it illegal for 100+ years.

  8. preacain says:

every people have a right to self determination!

  9. GinsPlace says:

Legitimate Question: If the American Government and Military pulls out of Hawai’i, what is to stop another country coming in and taking over? I am from Hawai’i and would love to see the Hawai’ian people get what is rightfully theirs, but has anyone thought about this?

  10. punkinheadcharlie says:

I partly agree, but I disagree that the “typical” American is greedy and power-hungry. It was the politicians and plantation owners who were greedy. Most Americans were simply ignorant, and still are.

  11. punkinheadcharlie says:

I say we reinstate Hawai’is national soveriegnty, pull our troops out of there, and put them on our southern border.

  12. hulaqte says:

    808…….THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!

  13. Thetoadman2926 says:

I’m an American… but i agree with the natives of Hawaii. Americans are stupid fucking greedy assholes….. BOTTOM LINE. they try to control everything. I will never choose to follow a land of money hungry… power hungry ..animals like the typical American. :) with that being said i’m very ashamed of what the “GREAT” land of America has become. what it is today and what it was founded on are two completely different things.

  14. ramiro104018 says:

ooo and also so many other countries

  15. ramiro104018 says:

we got our independence isn’t that something?

  16. extendolegs911 says:

  17. 808Productionz says:

If the united states has a constitutional government upon the moon, yes the united states owns the moon. You try to use “we came here first we own it” against us. When there was a legal CONSTITUTIONAL monarchy on these islands. When it was illegally overthrown by the government and illegally annexed. Look up your fucking history you ignant **** head.

  18. 808Productionz says:

Please look up Public Law 103 – 150 where it states “acknowledges that the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii occurred with the active participation of agents and citizens of the United States and further acknowledges that the Native Hawaiian people never directly relinquished to the United States their claims to their inherent sovereignty as a people over their national lands, either through the Kingdom of Hawaii or through a plebiscite or referendum”

  19. TonganHorseKing23 says:

if king Kamehameha the Great was still alive on the time it will be a defiant story…..

  20. hulaqte says:

….calmly waits for another”idiot” acttack on my spelling or any other irational assumptions rather than making a solid, resonable debate….must be a slow night…

  21. hulaqte says:

…sigh…. ok. spelling is an ego thing to you… be that as it may, if you overthrow an established goverment,no matter how under equipped they may be, you really don’t feel restitution is in order? Congeress formally apologize to the state of Hawaii for the overthrow of its goverment,by the Clinton Administation-come on now, i thought you were smarter then that…. apparently idiocy runs in your family as well….go google it before ignorance escapes your brain again…

  22. ramiro104018 says:

my point is that we did not let the USA just come in and take our land. We did not just try to sign a petition we fought.

  23. azngirl1220 says:

And yet hundreds Mexicans today cross the border to the US because their country isn’t good enough…

  24. ramiro104018 says:

Hawaiian people are ****** they should fight for there land like Mexico did.

  25. InsideLosAngeles says:

First off learn how to spell illegal correctly, secondly, by who’s law did it become considered illegal to take over Hawaii? International law didn’t find it illegal, American law didn’t find it illegal. Whose law? Oh let’s also not forget that laws change. According to the international law of today, invading Hawaii is considered invading the United States. And yes, Hawaiians have the legal right to challenge autonomy…..because they are Americans. You idiot.
